As Chairman/CEO and owner of MRG, Dan specializes in senior level executive retained search for a variety of industries and companies worldwide.  He also provides executive coaching and assistance to senior level candidates in all aspects of their career transition due to his expertise in interviewing and offer negotiation.

Dan has more than 35 years of management expertise, including retail experience as owner of Miltburne Drug Company in Chicago.  He forged this experience into the founding of a human resource management consulting business in 1989, the Management Resource Group, Ltd. (MRG).  MRG expanded its services to include all aspects of talent management and business consulting. MRG’s practice includes national clients in the Midwest and from coast to coast as well as international clients in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Australia, France, Brazil, Denmark, and Spain.

Dan holds a B.A. in Communications from Drake University.  He is an active member of several community boards and organizations, including the board of the Quad Cities Chamber. He was past Chairman of the Chamber and named Community Leader of the Year in 2000-2001. He also serves on the Advisory Council of the College of Business for St. Ambrose University.  Dan has been Past Chairman of the Quad City Federation of Chambers, and served as a board member for the Adler Foundation, the Putnam Museum, Friends of the Davenport Library, and the Davenport School Board. He also assumed a leadership role in the passage of the local option sales tax initiative for Scott County public schools.
