Heidi Schultz, SPHR
Partner

Heidi directs the Career Management Division of MRG. She specializes in career transition counseling, partner relocation assistance, executive coaching, assessments, and human resource consulting and has over 20 years of experience in the human resource field. 

Prior to joining MRG, Heidi held human resource and financial management positions with the Office of Chief Counsel, IRS in Washington D.C., and brings a unique perspective having served 14 years in the Army National Guard as a Transportation Officer & Battalion Staff Officer. 

As a resource for companies, Heidi helps our clients prepare for smooth transitions and supports displaced candidates from the time of notification until they are successfully reemployed. Over the past fourteen years, Heidi has worked with thousands of candidates at all levels and from all industries. She has assisted in numerous plant closings and managed projects taking place in multiple states and several countries simultaneously.

Heidi holds a B.B.A. with a concentration in Human Resources from James Madison University. She earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation and is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

She has worked with Fortune 50 companies as well as small, family owned businesses, from the manufacturing industry to service organizations and not-for-profits. Some notable clients include: ALCOA, Rockwell Collins, Bridgestone/Bandag, International Paper, General Mills, Maytag, Kraft Foods, Firstar Bank, and Honeywell.

An active member of the community, Heidi has served on several boards and held Board leadership roles with the Boys & Girls Club of the Mississippi Valley and The Women’s Connection. In addition, she is currently an international board member for Career Partners International (CPI).  Heidi also participates in the Illinois Area 13 Workforce Investment Board and Employer Support for the Guard and Reserves (ESGR) as well as numerous committees and Boosters related to the activities for her two school-aged sons.
