The Human Resources Assistant Director plans, organizes and manages the Human Resources activities of employee relations, employee records, organization and development, and recruitment operations of the City of Cedar Rapids.
As the primary executive responsible for all key financial and administrative activities of the organization, the Finance Director directs and oversees the financial health of the organization toward its primary objectives. This person will be tasked with building and developing a team of high-performing finance and administrative experts.
The Human Resource Manager plans, organizes and directs the Human Resources activities and operations of the City. In this position, the Director will have extensive leeway for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The Director of Human Resources will supervise the work of all employees within the Human Resources Department.
