Position Summary
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for obtaining orders from new and existing customers for robotic work cells. Travel for this role is extensive, at or above 50%, depending on where the individual chooses to live. Candidate should be open to relocation if needed.

Capital equipment sales and background in the industry preferred
Robotics and automation experience ideal
Established relationships in the industry
Industry knowledge of trends past and future is critical
Responsibilities
Identifies business opportunities within the market
Participates in and provides appropriate data for sales planning process
Works with customers to understand complete scope of project being quoted
Works closely with Advanced/Process Engineering and Marketing to assure accurate quoting and costing
Provides or finds technical support for customers when needed
Understands the “Market Price” for our offering and work to get the best price available
Works to get the best payment terms available from each customer. Understands Net Present Value
Closes orders to meet each year’s budgeted goal
Education and Experience
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of five years progressive sales experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
